ABOUT

The film is a Romantic Drama about a Limpopo born musician, Shandu Mmbara (played by Lesley Musina), who has to choose between following his dreams of becoming an international star or coming back home to Limpopo and continue on his family legacy. The movie explores themes of love and cultural integrity and is set to have a massive appeal to a youthful and elderly audience. The project boasts some of the biggest names in South Africa that have played lead roles in different South African Tv Series, Soapies and Movies namely: Lesley Musina; Millicent Makhado; Mulalo Mudau; Israel Makoe; Mukundi Mphaphuli; Gabriel Temudzani; Mpho Sebeng; Hebron Sigwavhulimu; Ngele Ramulondi, Mutodi Neshehe and Mogau Motlhatswi.

MAKING THE FILM:

It took almost three years to finally make Man In Crisis come to life. With the production beginning towards the end of 2015 and wrapping up in the middle of 2016, it was a testing time for this ambitious projects with a few starts and stops in between. Thanks to investors such as GTP Productions (Gabriel and Denga Tshisikule), Shadie Entertainment, Applix Distributors, Thom Alpha Entertainment, Louis Matsimela as well as the Department of Trade and Industry who came on board and made this movie a reality.
